Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction & Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy

 

Pain and joy are part of our daily lives: getting married or divorcing, moving house, starting a family, a bereavement, a change at work, an illness. Pleasant and unpleasant events can lead to stress as we have to adapt and change the way we act and think. Stress can leave us feeling irritable, tense, overwhelmed, confused and burnt out. To cope with the difficult situation we might re-activate old behaviour patterns such as smoking, drinking, over or under eating etc. which in turn will lead to more stress. us.

 

This 8 week course, delivered over 2 weekends, is a clinically proven program for alleviating stress, anxiety, panic, depression, chronic pain and a wide range of medical conditions. It will show you how to handle stress in new and creative ways. Research has increasingly demonstrated its effectiveness to the point where Mindfulness courses are now been acknowledged by NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) as being effective. Attending this course will enable you to replace stress promoting habits with mindfulness techniques that bring back a sense of balance and well being in body and mind.

 

This course is suitable for everyone.

 

It is advisable to attend all 4 days to get the full benefits, but If due to other commitments you have to miss one session, I will offer you an individual meeting to help you catch up with the program.
